ON Page Optimization:
On page optimization is used
directly on live website to get organic traffic for website. During on
page optimization we need to keep in mind both search engine as well as user
also. Website page opening speed, length of content, multimedia elements, internal
links, responsive design, meta title and description are the point which are
helpful in increasing rank of website during search.
On Page Optimization Techniques: With
the help of below techniques we can do on page optimization of particular by
giving importance to both user and crawler.
1. Keyword
Analysis: Word or phrase that describes requirement of user during search
is known as keyword. In keyword analysis we need to identify which keyword is
most beneficial for our website or we can say by which keyword we promote our website
and bring more traffic through search engines. We need to spend quality time in
doing Keyword analysis. It helps in increasing conversion rate.
2. Competition website Analysis:
Suppose my target keyword is “Digital marketing content learning” and I want my
website should be on top on this keyword. At the same time there are other
websites also which are on top on this keyword. These websites are my competitor.
By doing analysis of competitor websites we can get some more keyword or
inputs. Post analysis we can add other important keywords to our website if
they are useful and this will help us in getting more traffic.
3. Tag Optimization: In tag
optimization we optimize html tags. In html tag optimization we add keywords in
tag, because search engine gives priority or importance to tags like meta tag,
heading tags and bold tags etc. In meta tags there are title, keywords,
language and description.
4. URL: It is
website's address. In URL optimization we work on URL length, keyword
implementation in URL name.
5. Favicon:
Favicon should be in website.
6. Canonicalization Installation: It play very important role
in SEO optimization. If user want to search either www.domainname.com or
domainname .com, but search engine should direct that user to www.domainname.com only.
7. Web Speed optimization: It is
very important because if website loading time is high then user will not stay
on that website and move further to other website. If user opens any website
and because of high load time immediately close it then the website bounce rate
will increase. So it is important that website speed and website loading time
should be less. Website speed is depending on content, images-frames along with
memory used by CSS files & JAVA script files. So time to time we need to
optimize space used by CSS files & JAVA script files.
8. Text / code ratio: Website’s Text & code
ratio should be equal otherwise it will affect website performance. For this we
can use text code ratio tool also.
9. Linking: Linking
means interconnect between one website to other website or pages. Linking is of
three types-
· Internal Links: Linking between internal pages of particular website.Maximum 20 external links
is good for website.
· External Links:
Linking from one website to other website. Maximum 5-6 external link is good
for website.
· Broken Links: Because
of wrong linking link will be break and user will move to other website. No
broken links should be in website.
10. Doc type: Doc type
is website’s document type. In doc type we can find type of coding
(HTML/HTML5/X-HTML) used in website.
11. W3 Schools validation: In this
validator automatically optimize website according to W3 schools standards.
Validator follows guidelines like proper nesting, tags should be in small, and
attributes should be in inverted commas in optimizing particular website. For
this we can use www.validator.w3.org tool also.
12. Sitemap & Robot.txt File: We
need to submit sitemap files in search engines and need to install in website
route directory.
13. Content Optimization:
Optimization of content of website like text, images, favicon etc.
14. Conversion Form: Every
website should have inquiry form, contact us form or feedback form. It creates
relation between user and website owner.
15. Usability check: In
this we check website health that means how easily user can acess that website.
